Use the file browser to manage files across your storage connections.

File Browser Interface

The file browser provides a complete interface for managing files across all your connected storage sources.

Navigation Panel

The left sidebar shows your connected storage sources:

  • Connections - List of all storage connections
  • Favorites - Bookmarked folders for quick access
  • Recent - Recently accessed locations
  • Uploads - Your uploaded data sets

File List

The main panel displays files in your selected location:

List View

Shows detailed file info:

  • File name and icon
  • File size
  • Last modified date
  • File type/extension
  • Permissions (where applicable)

Grid View

Visual thumbnails for image files and icons for other types. Useful for:

  • Image galleries
  • Document collections
  • Visual file identification

File Operations

Upload Files

  1. Navigate to the destination folder
  2. Click the Upload button or drag files into the browser
  3. Select files from your computer
  4. Monitor upload progress
  5. Files appear in the list when complete

Download Files

  1. Select one or more files
  2. Click Download or right-click and select Download
  3. For multiple files, a ZIP archive is created
  4. File downloads to your browser's download folder

Copy/Move Files

  1. Select files to copy or move
  2. Click Copy or Cut (or use Ctrl+C / Ctrl+X)
  3. Navigate to the destination folder
  4. Click Paste (or use Ctrl+V)
  5. Files are copied or moved to the new location

File Preview

Preview files without downloading:

  • Text Files - Syntax-highlighted view
  • Images - Full-size image preview
  • PDFs - In-browser PDF viewer
  • CSV/JSON - Formatted table or tree view
  • Video/Audio - Media player controls

Cross-Source Operations

You can copy and move files between different storage sources. For example, copy a file from S3 to Azure Blob Storage or move data from an SFTP server to Google Cloud Storage.
